Comments

We may use Gravatar to display profile images. Once your comment is approved, your name and image (if applicable) will appear publicly with it.

Media

If you upload images, avoid adding location data (like GPS info). Others may be able to extract that data from publicly posted images.

Cookies

If you leave a comment, you can choose to save your name, email, and website in cookies for convenience — no need to retype them next time. These last about a year.

If you log in, we use cookies to remember your session and display preferences. These expire after 2 days to 2 weeks, depending on your choices. Editing content creates a temporary cookie that expires in 1 day.

Embedded Content

Some posts may include embedded media (videos, images, etc.). These work the same as visiting the original site and may collect data or track interactions.

Who We Share Data With

If you request a password reset, your IP address may be included in the reset email — a normal security feature.

How Long We Retain Your Data

Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely to auto-approve future responses.

If you register, we save the personal info in your profile. You can edit or delete your info anytime (except your username). Admins can also view and edit profiles.

If you’ve interacted with us — via comments or a user account — you can:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Request that we delete your data (except what’s legally required to retain).

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service like Akismet to keep the comment space clean.
